'Crashy Bash Boxed' is a FREE demo version of Molber Games 'Crashy Bash Boom' which is available on the Google Play Store. In this version, there's no time limit but the play environment is smaller and therefore limited.
'Pop Pop' the toy tank has been packed away - but the fun doesn't end!
'Crashy Bash Boxed', the name says it all. Take 'Pop Pop' your toy tank, for a fun ride around the cardboard storage box, crashing and bashing into anything you like. Use the toy tank's cannon to fire plastic balls and interact in different ways with the other kids toys within the box.
The aim of 'Crashy Bash Boxed' is simple. There's no rules, no points to be scored, no storyline to keep up with. Just start the game up and click on the big play button. Drag your finger around on the screen and the toy tank will follow your every touch. There's a button to fire the toy tank's cannon, and that's it - child's play at it's best.
Explore the storage box and look out for:
- dominoes that topple over
- toy cars that try to avoid being smashed up by the toy tank
- a rocket launcher designed to react when the toy tank fires at it
Having fun sometimes involves making a mess. However, few people like tidying up so with one click of a button, it's all done! With a simple press of the reset button, watch as all the blocks and toys around the toy tank restore themselves to their original position, ready to play again.
Crashy Bash Boxed is suitable for kids aged between 3 and 9 but big kids (c'mon parents, we know you like a sneaky go when the kids aren't around) are also encouraged to play.
EDUCATIONAL:
Through the use of physics, children can learn about 'cause and effect'.
- What happens when a larger block hits a smaller one?
- What happens when the tank smashes through a single object compared to multiple ones
FOR PARENTS: Crashy Bash Boxed has been designed and developed with small children in mind, by a parent who has young children of his own. The game has purposefully been kept simple to encourage the use of short but fun gaming, with the ethos that mobile games for younger children should be both easy to pick up and play - but also easy to put down when the time comes for their gaming session to end.
NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPER: Is there anything that you'd like to see added to the game? Please let me know in the review comments and I'll do my best to include these as the game development progresses.
The cost of Crashy Bash Boxed will always be free. The only ad included in this game is a link to the full version of the game, Crashy Bash Boom, which is available on the Google Play Store. There are no in-app purchases.
ABOUT THE DEVELOPER: Molber Games consists of a solo graphic designer based in Scotland, ably assisted by his two young daughters. The design of the game, including the 3D modelling, the textures and the majority of the sound effects, were created (literally) in-house. As a hobbyist project, Crashy Bash Boxed is a labour of love developed over many spare days and nights (and spare minutes) where available.
